In Hong Kong, one in five children lives in poverty, and tens of thousands of children are at risk for neglect, abuse, and abandonment. S.K.H. St. Christopher’s Home provides small group home services for children without families or adequate family care with the mission to create and sustain a caring environment for children to grow, develop potentials and live a life of fullness.
This year, Orbis is collaborating with Kee Wah Bakery (奇華餅家) and leading local illustrator, Din Dong (癲噹), to design Mid-Autumn mooncake gift sets in its charity sales. All proceeds from this charity sales will go to support Orbis’ mission that brings people together to fight avoidable blindness.
As part of our ongoing commitment to the community, WeValue donated Orbis Din Dong mooncakes to the S.K.H. St. Christopher’s Home in this joyful occasion. We sincerely hope to spread the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival and bring happiness to the children.
